Memorize 2.00 study aid - memorize words by quiz Registration: $5
SDN_MISC DEC93 STUDY AID STUDENTS SCHOOL MEMORIZE
FILES: mem200.sdn
Author: David Gurecki
Memorize Release 2.00 is an extremely useful Study Aid. It basically helps
you memorize pairs of words by quizzing you repeatedly. You supply a text
file with the words you need to study, and Memorize will simply display each
question, prompt for the answer, and keep track of which ones you answer
correctly. You can take the "quiz" over and over, until you know all the
words. You will see that your score will improve each time you take the quiz,
and if you can get a 100% several times, you have the words memorized!
The program also has several advanced features to aid you further. It can
randomize the questions so you don't get used to any particular order. It also
can switch the questions and answers (display the answer & ask for the
question), time the quiz sessions so you can work for speed, and can be set to
case insensitive answer-checking (as well as case sensitive). For those who
register, Memorize will accept a partial answer as correct, and allows the user
to define what percentage of the answer to consider for partial credit. You
can specify a Config file for your default settings to the above options.
Memorize can process combine up to 10 separate Word Files, with a limit of
500 lines total.
The Benefits of Memorize are that it is a sure way to study for a test - once
you know them on Memorize, they are 'engrained' in your head for a while. It is
a more complete way of studying than covering up one side of the paper, or
other methods. It will make sure that you not only know the words, but can
spell them correctly too, and spelling is important for most tests or quizzes.
It is especially useful for studying Foreign Language vocabulary, phone
numbers, dates, birthdays, and many other things. Though it was written
specifically for students, it is useful to everyone as a memory aid. You will
find that studying with Memorize can only be beneficial, and may lead to
developing better study habits, improving memory skills, raising your grades,
or even better time management skills. Keep in mind that you can't study for
every test with Memorize, since not every test requires raw memorization of
two terms. But, the ones you can and do use Memorize for, will come a lot
easier!
"So, Don't just study it - Memorize it!"
